FASTREAD

Syntax:

FASTREAD = { ON } { OFF }

Parameters:

ON
Do not perform extra checking.
OFF
Perform extra checking to ensure data integrity.

Properties:

Default: ON

Comments:

To increase the efficiency of reads on fixed length, non-compressed indexed files, set FASTREAD to ON.
