QUALFIX

  • Host variable names have a maximum length of 27 characters unless you are using DB2 Universal Database V5.0 or later.
  • DB2 error messages will sometimes display the names of host variables with the three additional characters appended to them.

The default is NOQUALFIX if using DB2 Universal Database V7.1 or later. Otherwise it is QUALFIX.

Syntax:

QUALFIX
NOQUALFIX
