Sample Programs

We provide several scripts and COBOL programs that demonstrate the functionality of the Host Compatibility Option. The functionality represented includes:

• Database creation
• DDL processing
• Import
• Export
• DCLGEN
• Using Static SQL statements
• Using Dynamic SQL statements

You can find the HCO samples in the $COBDIR/demo/hco directory of your COBOL development system's installation. Review the hcodemo.txt file in that directory for more information.
