Specifies the default file type for files defined (implicitly or explicitly) as ORGANIZATION SEQUENTIAL.

Parameters:
type One of:
ADVANCING RECORD SEQUENTIAL with LINE ADVANCING.
ANSI ANSI-conforming RECORD SEQUENTIAL.
LINE LINE SEQUENTIAL.
RECORD RECORD SEQUENTIAL (a standard SEQUENTIAL file).

Default: SEQUENTIAL"RECORD" (Dialect )

Dependencies:

Set to SEQUENTIAL"RECORD" immediately by NORM or RM"ANSI".

Set to SEQUENTIAL"LINE" immediately by RM.
