Google Cloud Storage Connector

26.2.0

New Features

  • The configuration parameter BucketNames has been added, so that you can specify an explicit list of buckets to process, rather than filtering all buckets by prefix or regular expression.
  • The connector populates the AUTN_MIGRATION_URI metadata field for the documents that it creates, to help you migrate data from Google Cloud Storage into other repositories. The connector supports inserting data into Google Cloud Storage by using migration URIs. For more information about using migration URIs, refer to the Knowledge Discovery NiFi Ingest documentation.
  • The configuration parameters InsertProjectID and InsertBucketName have been added, so that you can set a default project ID and bucket name to use when inserting items into Google Cloud Storage.
  • In NiFi Ingest, the advanced configuration browse tab (which presents a view of the items in the repository) now includes folders. A new identifier type, "Folder", has been added to support this feature.

Resolved Issues

  • Due to an issue with the storage of OAuth tokens in previous versions of the connector, you might need to obtain OAuth tokens again. After upgrading to this version of Google Cloud Storage Connector, re-run the OAuth guided setup wizard (in NiFi) or the OAuth configuration tool (for the standalone connector).
